Omaha TV station KETV reports that, on Sunday, Big-Time Coaches Help Omaha Raise Autism Funds for the Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute. The “big-time coaches” named were former NFL and college football coach Dick Vermeil and former college basketball coach and current ESPN analyst Rick Majerus
.
Autistic high school senior and basketball player Jason McElwain was also present, and mentioned in the second paragraph.
Guess he’s not such a “big-time” name in some circles.

Have you and other parents posed your questions and concerns to the AUTHORS of the Son-RISE program(Raun’s parents) or for that matter Raun himself. Isincerely believe the SON-RISE treatment program stacks up well against programs such as ABA or IBI which appear to emphasize behaviour modification
Mr. Noakes, I and other parents of autistic children, and other autistic adults, have a number of questions and concerns regarding Son Rise and the Options Institute and its views about autism and “treatment” for it. I have indeed reviewed the SonRise website.
