Blendie is a design concept for a voice controlled blender. Using sound analysis software, the blender will turn on to various settings based upon an imitation of its sounds – like various growl sounds. The lower the pitch, the slower the spin.
The experience for the participant is to speak the language of the machine and thus to more deeply understand and connect with the machine.
The concept exposes the relationship between human and machine. See it in action here.
