Cadbury Dairy Milk Goes Fairtrade

Cadbury Dairy Milk, arguably the biggest selling chocolate bar in Britain, is going fairtrade!

The chocolate giant is pursuing the certification and hopes to have it by this fall, and have even set up a blog so you can follow the process. They have an excellent post about what fairtrade is and what the benefits are, which include stable pricing, extra income for the farmers, and environmental protection.

I’m the blog editor over at cadburydairymilk.typepad.com. Thanks for linking to us.

We’ve got loads of things coming up – including a trip to Ghana to actually meet the farmers who’ll really appreciate the move.

    So stay tuned :-)
