Cake Strips

Bake the perfect cake with these cake strips. They ensure your cake raises perfectly level.

Bake perfectly level, moist cakes. Avoid high-rise centers, cracked tops, or crusty edges. Just wrap dampened strips around pan before baking and close easily with velcro.

Maybe I’ll do some baking tomorrow. I haven’t in a couple of weeks. I have been dying to make cupcakes. Yum.

    These cake strips are *absolutely the thing* for large cakes, such as wedding cakes. I’m reminded of my dear mother who helped raise five kids with her cake decorating business. Before these strips were invented, she tore up old towels into strips, dampened them and fastened them on with safety pins. Baking with these strips – or old strips of cloth – makes a major difference. Then the cake was level after baking. Otherwise, she had to spend time with an actual level and knife getting it carved into perfect shape. These would be the perfect gift for any body who loves to bake cakes, especially larger ones.
