Electric Plate Warmer

I totally thought these were just napkins when I saw the picture. It is, rather, a long and flexible plate warmer.

Hot plates add an elegant touch to a meal – ensuring your guests can eat at their leisure without the food cooling as quickly. Fine china can be heated in a water bath, but it’s rather messy. The plate warmer heats them to the serving temperature of 150 degrees F. The liner is soft cotton to prevent accidental chipping.

Oh, the ultimate in luxury to have a warming drawer! Maybe in my next life :-)

I have had a version of this plate warmer for 30+ years and love it. I double stack up to 12 plates in it and they are warmed to just the right temperature so that food is served hot and stays hot longer. I’d love to have a built in warming drawer, but this is a great, economical substitute.
