Eva Solo has revolutionized grill brushes. I thought I was thrilled with the silicone brush by Chef’n – Hod Rod Mop Brush – but this one has me even more impressed.
Although silicone has the benefit of not melting, it does have the drawback of not adhering well to sauces. It doesn’t really ‘grab’ some sauces well (I’ve noticed this particularly with egg whites).
The Eva Solo Grill Brush features metal coils that suck up, and get coated with, your sauce. The metal is as heat resistant as silicone, but more effective for basting your meats or veggies.
