Gorenje iPod-Controlled Fridge

Gorenje has just demoed an official Apple-licensed made for iPod / iPhone refrigerator at IFA 2008.

The fridge was designed to be controlled by either the iPod touch or the iPhone using an app called iGorenj – an app that controls this new fridge, as well as a new washing machine and oven with the same interface. The application can also be run from any other web device in your home if you have WiFi network – so you can control your fridge any way you want.

Things that this application can do: choose a recipe and the oven will cook based on that. Download recipes. Get cooking tips & tips on how to tell if an item in your fridge is fresh or ripe.

Gorenj has not yet updated their website, so this coverage comes from Gizmodo.
