Knife Block

knifeblockIt doesn’t take much to make a statement. Someone just has to think up the idea first.

Well, that is what Martin Robitsch did with the SCHASCHLIK *limited edition* knife holder.

Aesthetically, it’s simple an elegant. Functionally, it’s superb. By doing something so simple as using skewers inside the holder, this block allows you to place your knife anywhere – no more being locked into predetermined knife block holes!

You could buy this for $110 – or make your own, for that matter.

Good point – but I think it’s fairly easy to stick them back in.

actually i’m thinking, wouldn’t some of the sticks come out together with the knife when you pull the knife out?
