The Mr Clean Magic Eraser has always been known for its ability to remove marker and crayon stains from the walls, but lately I got the chance to try out the newest version: The Mr Clean Magic Eraser Extra Power. That’s right…even more cleaning action.
I no longer have crayon-wielding fiends in my household, but I do have a new oven that gets kind of…well, disgusting would be a good word. And I’m just talking about the stove top, never mind inside the oven. According to the manufacturer, the stove top is very fussy about what cleans it. Maybe they should have said it’s very fussy and nothing much cleans it, short of a razor blade.

That’s right. It got the baked on gross stuff right off the top, using very little elbow grease. And it didn’t scratch the surface. So, guess what I’ll be using from now on? Just don’t tell my oven manufacturer that I’ve voided my warranty by not using their own brand of cleaner that doesn’t work anyway…

Shirley, I mostly use the product “Simple Green” for cleaning, but there are baked on messes that it just won’t touch. I suppose maybe if I added sand to my natural cleaners…?
I have tried the older version and have still got some for those filthy hand prints from working on cars but i could definitley do with something to clean the oven that isn’t caustic. Tried all the natural stuff but need more gumption. I will definitely try this…thanks for the tip Cyndi.
