I am starting up polls here on Cooking Gadgets. As I sit here drinking my coffee I decided the first one should be about coffee.
I’m a bit of a coffee snob – we buy fresh beans once a week, freshly roasted single origin from what we consider the best place in Vancouver, grind them fresh each day, and make it very carefully via French Press. It’s my husband’s morning routine.
So, I often recommend coffee stuff here, and I want to know how you make coffee to recommend the best coffee stuff for that.

So what do you think is the best place for coffee in Vancouver?
Don’t forget the Stovetop machines – my Italian boss swears by it! I’ve had one but ruined it by washing it with soap and water … have gone back to the good ol’ french press, since I don’t drink enough coffee to justify an expensive machine.
Love that your site is Canadian – so hard to get stuff from US sites in Canada – would love if you could list some Canadian sources (online or physical) where possible!!
