nuwave_holiday1.jpg

Have you seen the ads? It’s an intriguing little appliance, that’s for sure. The Nu-Wave Oven is so far only available online or by calling the 800 number.

By combining the power of conduction, convection, and infrared cooking, the Nu-Wave Oven cooks foods thoroughly and quickly. Our patented 3 way cooking allows for meats to be moist and succulent but also crisply browned.

The Nu-Wave Oven is easy to use and dishwasher safe. You’ll be amazed at the amount of time this revolutionary product will save you in the kitchen!

I should mention – this Thanksgiving I was going to my father’s assisted living apartment to cook dinner. Most things were pre-prepped, and there was going to be no turkey. On the way there Dad called and changed his mind and wanted turkey. The advantage of this oven is that I was able to get a 14 lb frozen turkey and cook it in the oven without defrosting it.

Their older model is available in stores. There is a yahoo group devoted to them. Also check out the morningware version that is the same except for the label and far better customer service.

I picked up several at the “Country Store Outlet” in Wisconsin for $25 a pop rather than the $100 list.
