Photo Gallery: Bertolli’s Culinary Tour of L.A. and Rocco DiSpirito Meet and Greet

Blisstree reader and Bertolli contest winner Brittney Smith, with celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito.

Last week, Bertolli swept Blisstree away to Los Angeles for a culinary tour and a chance to meet Rocco DiSpirito, and they let us take a reader with us! Brittney Smith, pictured above with Rocco, was the lucky winner of Blisstree’s Bertolli Pasta Dinner Giveaway.

Bertolli took five bloggers, including Blisstree, on a trip to L.A. to find out about the kinds of quality food and ingredients that they use in their own products, and to meet Rocco DiSpirito, a star of Bertolli’s “Into the Heart of Italy” series. We got to meet some great bloggers, including Jenny from The Picky Palate, Shelisa from Big2Beautiful and Steamy Kitchen, Amanda from KevinandAmanda.com, Sarah J. Gim from The Delicious Life, and Pat from Mille Fiori Favoriti, who share Blisstree’s passion for great food. Oh, and we also got to meet Rocco DiSpirito.

Our “Into the Heart of L.A.” trip included lots of great food along with the good company: We stopped at The Griddle Cafe for breakfast, several food trucks for lunch, including The World Fare busTaurant for bunny chow and fried mac n’ cheese balls (yes, our stomachs were in turmoil), Scoops gelato shop, and The Cheese Shop of Beverly Hills. The grand finale was a meet and greet with Rocco DiSpirito and a special tasting menu designed by Bertolli from Culina, the new Italian restaurant at the Four Seasons’ Beverly Wilshire.

Check out our gallery, below:

Blisstree received this trip courtesy of Bertolli Frozen Meals (all-expenses paid covering transportation, hotel and meals) and our opinions are independent of the sponsored giveaway.
