Good point Jason, and I *know* that! I mostly use cast iron skillets, and they take forever and a day to get hot, but they stay hot forever too. Thanks for the correction
Actually, cast iron takes the longest to heat up compared to any other metal used for cooking. But yes, it also retains heat the longest.
