The not-so-humble kitchen clock

The clock in my kitchen is pretty standard kitchen fare.  It’s pretty enough, with some pretty fruit and floral designs on it.  It matches the decor pretty well.  It’s boring.

I didn’t even really think about how boring it is until I saw a couple of wonderful novelty kitchen clocks recently.  If I ever decide to trade in the clock I have right now, one of these might make it onto my walls:
