I’ve had a lot of trouble lately with my old corkscrew, mostly because of the rise of synthetic corks. So when I saw this little beauty being recommended by Bon Appetit, I sat up and took notice. It’s just $10 at WineStuff. The trick, apparently, is to look for a corkscrew with a Teflon-coated worm (the screw part). This one by Pulltex fits the bill nicely and inexpensively.
