At first glance, I thought this was a coffee cup that had been packaged to the extreme, but really it is the entire coffee machine. The WMF 1 coffee machine pad uses the coffee pod system (I think, they call it "pad") to brew coffee in under a minute. Simply fill the water tank, press the button, and wait for your coffee to brew.
This gadget won the 2007 Red dot design award.

This is a clever little design! I like how compact it is, and the simplicity is so relieving in today’s world of such a ridiculous amount of options and variables. Sometimes you just need a good normal coffee!

There is no questions that for single serve espresso coffee Pods or Pad’s or Capsules, whatever you want to call them can make great “fresh” coffee.
Cute design (so long as the priuce is cheap) however, for my money there is no beating the sound and aroma of freshly ground beans

This is a great design and would fit well into any cubicle while still being nondescript..
