You just flip the pancakes and it does imprint on both sides, just a little better on the first side due to how pancakes cook, etc. But it's WICKED, my 2 year old twin boys LOVED eating their pancakes last night for supper (so excited about the pan wanted to use it right away so we made breakfast for supper!) ;) I just got this as a present from a friend…it’s WICKED!
