10 reasons you should read Womb Within

Someone asked me an interesting question the other day. When she found out that beside my regular freelancing, I write for a few blogs. She didn’t ask me why I wrote the blogs – a question many people ask – but why she should read my blogs? So, after thinking about it, here are the 10 reasons I think that people should read Womb Within. Please add your ideas if you have any.

1- We discuss the latest news on fertility, infertility, getting pregnant, and having those babies.

2- I post links to interesting articles like Pregnant stepmothers.

3- I publish important issues like recalls and warnings (SAFETY WARNING: Simplicity 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 Convertible “Close-Sleeper” Models)

4- We discuss health issues that people may not normally associate with pregnancy (Did you really see “gonorrhea” on that blood test requisition?)

5- Womb Within hosts a monthly Pregnancy and Health blog carnival, which provides readers with different links and ideas.

6- We have some fun and cool contests.

7- We discuss the silly and have a laugh or two (The most annoying questions you’ve been asked and A smile for you: Bill Cosby and his take on natural childbirth.)

8- We discuss safety information (Baby safety – playing and eating – and a give away from PlaySkool and Emergency! What to do if a pregnant woman chokes)

9- Since many of the feelings that we have during pregnancy continue on for quite a while after, we also discuss things that happen after baby arrives with a bit on safety, a bit on breastfeeding, and life as a new mom (Don’t try to be perfect – it can only backfire).

10- And finally, because I really want Womb Within to be one of the first places women (and men) come to when they are looking for information on pregnancy.
