D is for dictionary so you can look up all these words.
D is also for:
Dilation: As you prepare to have your baby, your cervix will begin to open, to dilate. It will deliver – believe it or not – to 10 centimeters. That’s not quite 4 inches.
Due date: The date of delivery, or the due date, is estimated based on a 40 week pregnancy (280 days). A good number of women, actually most of them, don’t deliver on their due date, but usually within a week before or after.
Doula: A doula is a woman who is hired to be a woman’s helper during pregnancy and usually through delivery. She helps both mom and dad, actually. But this post describes it a lot better: What is a doula?
