Celebrity IVF experiences giving false hope?

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is gaining popularity as it becomes more available to the general public. It’s not cheap, but it is more available. And, as more celebrity moms over the age of 40 years use this technology to become pregnant, some experts worry that this is giving false hope to women who get the impression that it’s easy to become pregnant, no matter how old they are, as long as they can use IVF.

In Australia, statistics are showing that one in five women who are trying IVF to conceive is over the age of 40 years. The problem is though, not many of them get pregnant. And, because of the distorted view (of celebs like Nicole Kidman who did become pregnant), the disappointment is almost inevitable. You can read more about this in the article, Celebrities give false hope to IVF mums.
