Claims that Arthritis Drug Etanercept helps Alzheimer's Might Not be Accurate.

I posted last week about the arthritis drug etanercept and how it might help Alzheimer’s patients.

Now it turns out that this could all be just false hope.

According to an article in the Daily Mail, the rest of the medical fratenity are questioning Dr Tobinick’s claims. For example..

“Dr Greg Cole, assistant director of the UCLA Alzheimer’s Disease Centre, called Dr Tobinick’s Alzheimer’s work “suspicious” and said it did not meet clinical trial standards. He added that most doctors were “very sceptical” of his claims.”

I’d recommend reading the full article to understand the concerns regarding Dr Tobinick’s claims…
