Feathers seem to be a trend in wedding decor and bridal bouquets in the last year, and I look for them to become an even bigger trend in 2010. Peacock feathers are leading the way, but I’ve also been seeing other dyed feathers, and feather elements mixed into bridal decor.
Pair peacock feathers with colors that pop, like teal blues, robin egg blue, emeralds, greens, and purples for table decorations, centerpieces, flower arrangements, and even boutonnieres.
Peacock feathers work fabulously with flowers either as accents, or front and center in your decorations.
Smaller feathers are also fun to incorporate into your wedding, including fake and decorative feathers if you use them in the right places you can blend them right into your decor or use them as accents.
Have fun and use your imagination to incorporate feathers into the decorations of your wedding.
