My girlfriend lost her job in July 2009, she was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and had a seizure at lunch and was late returning to work, the company told her since there was no proof that she had a seizure, she was being terminated after 16 years of service. About six months after that, I was arrested for something that I was accused of doing, but I could not prove that I didn’t do it and spent 3 months in the worst jail there is. My girlfriend had to sell everything we owned to be able to get me out, we have nothing but each other, our two golden retrievers and an air mattress her mother bought is. We had nice leather furniture, 56” flat screen TV, video games, you name it, we had it, our bills were paid and life was great, but the most depressing of all was that we had been planning our wedding now for about 7 months and it all had to be returned, we wanted to pay for it, but now we will be lucky to pay the water bill. It cost so much for me to be in jail and even more for me to get out, and now that I am out, it still cost even more. Any help at all would be greatly appreaciated. We are registered at Wal-Mart.Com

This is a fantastic idea. I love the Lesbian wedding stories they feature. However I do kind of have an issue with publishing how people did their weddings.
Although they are a great resource for wedding planning, each wedding should be unique to the couple that is getting married and by following what others did, you start to loose that. Sure it is a great start, but soo many times I see people planning the exact same one that they read about instead of making it something unique and completely all about them and their personalities.
The book should be a fabulous starting point, but hopefully people will also use their own ideas and creativity with their own ideas and twists to their big day.
