A study in the May issue of the journal Transplantation has found that women who have kidney transplants may have a good chance of having a successful pregnancy, particularly if they were younger when they had their transplant.
According to the study findings, the rate of transplant failure did not differ between the 47 women who did get pregnant (total 74 pregnancies) and the control group of 187 women with kidney transplants who did not get pregnant.
The researchers concluded, that women who had their transplants at a younger age and also were pregnant young had a higher chance of having a successful pregnancy. Even if there was less than 1 year between the transplant and the pregnancy, there was no apparent increase in risk to the pregnancy than women who waited longer.

i had a kidney transplant back in 2005 and i had a baby in 2007 and had a normal pregnancy no complications what so ever and now im still healthy to this day in fact of thinking of having another one.
