Could your cell phone be harming your unborn child?

There have been many claims about the harm that cell phones can do and there have been many counterclaims saying that cell phones are not harmful – who to believe?womanCellPhone_nc

Now, researchers are saying that cell phones used by pregnant women and by children under 7 years old put the children at risk for behavior problems. In the article, Mobile phone danger to unborn child: Use could cause behavioral problems, the author wrote, “It found that those who used phones while pregnant were 54 per cent more likely to report behavioural problems in their children, including hyperactivity and emotional and relationship difficulties.” Sounds ominous, doesn’t it?

Of course, studies are rarely that cut and dry, so I would like to read the whole study findings before really believing anything either way. That being said, Grace over at Kids Health Notes did read the study and here is what she had to say: Cell phone use by pregnant women leads to behavior problems in children later. Liz over at Healthbolt also covered it: Pregnant? You Might Want to Ditch the Cell Phone.
