Back in May, I wrote about University of Montana women’s golf coach Joanne Steele who suffers from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and was on the heart transplant list. I’m excited to report that she received a heart transplant yesterday!
Her husband Cory Steele said:
The operation went as well as possible, but the next 48 hours of recovery time are critical. We’re very happy that things went as well as could be expected.
Our best wishes for a speedy recovery, Coach!
