Watch your gums if you're bleaching your teeth

Want your smile whiter than white? Just be careful that you don’t end up losing your teeth while working on matching the Hollywood or glamor smiles.

Did you know that some of the products used to whiten teeth can burn your gums? That they can burn your gums to such a severity that you could require surgery to repair them, to reduce the pain and reduce the risk of losing your teeth? Not many people do.

You can read more about the issue in this article, Craze for Hollywood smile leads to emergency skin grafts for gums burned by teeth bleaching.

How about you? Have you ever had your teeth whitened? Would you like to? Click on the “comments” section just below to have your say.
