The UK Food Standards Agency has a fun quiz about genetically modified food. Some of the answer choices and explanations cracked me up! I got 9 out of 10 right. What about you?
In the latest Genetics and Health poll, 20 (54%) out of 37 respondents were confident they’d eaten GM food before whereas 13 (35%) weren’t sure. Only 4 (11%) believed they had never eaten GM foods in their life.
But as James Wachai of GMO Africa points out, most everyone has eaten genetically modified foods whether you realize it or not.

I am sure of it when I buy food from the supermarket. I am sure I do not eat something like that when I grow vegetables in my own garden.
