This month the Lifestyles Network here at b5media is having a contest. Mother Earth’s Garden has already met the criteria for the contest but one. I need to make some extra posts this month.
Part of the prize is $30 I can pass on to my readers. I decided I’m going to give $30 to one lucky Mother Earth’s Garden reader whether I win or not.
What do you need to do to enter? I need some extra encouragement, and ideas this month. That’s where you, my awesome readers, come in.

3. I would like to start featuring readers gardens here on Mother Earth’s Garden. Contact me and send me your favorite garden photo, with a description of your garden, or a little blurb about you, or your garden blog, and it may be featured here. If you don’t have a photo yet, don’t forget about us this summer when all your flowers are in bloom!

Talk more about the wonder and ease of “deep mulch” gardening. It’s been the answer to my “plant it and leave it” gypsy-life-style philosophy —-yet I still can’t convince friends and relatives that it really works.
I agree with a previous poster–I’d love to see more on gardening with kids. Tools that are safe for them, plants that are safe for them, things that give faster gratification in terms of growth or change.
I would love to know more about edible landscaping–plants that provide food for myself and for wildlife.
I would love to see more specific step by step how to’s. also step by step for making your own compost with kitchen scraps and getting those red worms.
I would like to know how to garden when you only have 5 months without snow on the ground.
At the age of 74, I need to know the most nutritious vegetables to grow and I need to know ways of growing them that do not require kneeling or a lot of bending over. I want to stay healthy as long as I possibly can and I know vegetables fresh from the garden are going to be part of that plan, but arthritis and lack of energy are taking their toll.
I garden but am by far just a novice. would love any tips

My wife and I love gardening and I would like to know more about how to find resources specific to geographic areas (such as our place of residence). That way we can know what types of plants/weeds/etc we should be aware of and how best to landscape/garden local to us.
