With cold season upon us, we all know that hand washing is a top priority. But we also all know that that just isn’t an option. Like after, say, you shake someone’s hand on the bus and immediately notice that they have a bad habit of wiping their nose on that same hand. Just for example. At times like that, it’s nice to have an on-the-go antibacterial product, just to be on the safe side. And fortunately, there are more than a few that don’t smell like an alcohol swap or a hospital. Here are 5 that I especially like.

Soaps, Stephanie, true, very bad news. You’re right, those are really a problem. However, since none of these products are soaps, and they pretty much are exactly what you’re talking about, except for folks who can’t tolerate that kind of direct and concentrated alcohol, then what she’s talking about in this article is a great alternative.
Actually, to be on the safe side you want NOT to use antibacterial products. Anti-bac is at the root of a public health problem in which bacterial strains are becoming resistant to antibiotics–we’re trying to be too clean and it’s bad community health. All you need is an alcohol-based sanitiser… and to continue being part of the solution instead of part of the problem, chuck your anti-bac soap, too–it’s about the friction, not trying to kill every bacterium (bad OR good) that you come into contact with with a mega-soap.
