5 Gift Ideas for the Gardener On Your Christmas List

gardening gifts © Linette GerlachGardener’s work hard all season long, so why not pamper them a little at Christmas time. If you have fellow gardener on your Christmas list this year here are are 5 great gift ideas to help them pamper themselves, or relax the off season.

1. Get them a gift certificate to the local spa to go get pampered for a day.

2. Gardeners find it therapeutic to grow things, even in winter. Give your favorite gardener a kit to force bulbs in the winter. A colorful pot with good drainage, some soil and the bulbs are all you need. Many garden centers have kits you can purchase.

3. A subscription to a gardening magazine. Organic Gardening, Backyard Living, and Birds & Blooms are some of my favorites.

4. Crabtree and Evelyn has a Gardener’s Deluxe Flowerpot, a Gardener’s Birdhouse, and a 60 Second Fix Manicure set for hands. All of these products feature gardener’s soap and hand cream with shea butter, to help soften a gardener’s rough hands.

5. Make up your own basket with any of the above items included. Some other great items to include are gardening gloves, a gift card for the local gardening center, a birdhouse or birdfeeder, a watering can, garden seeds for the new season, a garden stone, or garden gnome would all be great items to include in a gardener’s gift basket.
