The National Women’s Law Center has a powerful campaign to stop discriminatory and harmful practices in health care coverage… practices that label rape and spouse abuse as ‘pre-existing conditions’ and force women to choose between their health and their finances. I posted about the Huffington Post article last week that started my own outrage for this broken system that penalizes victims of violence and denies them help to heal.
