Another great reader here on Solomother (and I’m sorry, but I can’t keep my eyes open much longer, so I can’t scroll back and look her up tonight) recommended Parents Without Partners (www.parentswithoutpartners.org), an organization that acts as a support network for single parents. She says it’s been invaluable for her… unfortunately, there’s no group in my immediate vicinity.
But if there were, I’d be signing up right now. I need a vacation. I need single mom girlfriends to hang out with and have slumber parties, watch the kids while some of us sneak out and have lives. You know.
I need some girls. I hope Parents Without Partners will connect some of you moms (and dads) out there.
