Get out those hoes, sharpen up those spades and dance around the yard (well you probably better put the spades down first). April is National Gardening Month and it’s time to celebrate!
The number of gardeners is on the rise, that’s a great reason to celebrate. It’s a good thing that more people are getting in touch with the Earth and learning a helpful skill.
You don’t have to have a huge garden, or build elaborate raised beds to have a garden. A couple containers, or a small patch of tomatoes can be very rewarding, and provide you with fresh vegetables and flowers for the summer.
Celebrate National Gardening Month by getting out in the garden and digging in the dirt. Plant some flowers for party decorations, and some vegetables for party snacks.
