I’m so sick of saying, “It is what it is,” about so much that’s going on, in my personal day to day life, in the lives of single mothers throughout the world, in the political and environmental sludge that seems to be suffocating every bright and hopeful possibility…
So I’d like to thank Jim for sending me this video today. If you want to laugh and cry and hope this Sunday, please settle down and watch it a time or three.
I think I’ve got a new mantra. YES WE CAN.
“But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope.”

He’s such a gifted speaker. Imagine, I might be able to watch future State of the Union Addresses and ENJOY them instead of wanting to throw something at the TV!
I’m going to be shallow for a minute and say I had goosebumps over my TV boyfriend Bryan Greenberg playing his guitar
Cool video idea!
Rebecca, wasn’t that stunning? I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
Tracee, as long as we all feel it’s time to stand up and make our voices heard!!
That video was moving. “We want change” the understatement of the century!!
Soon, when women get together this election, it will be “it was what it was” and we’ll laugh at the absurdities.
That’s what I think. I’ve the same weariness. But, its a weariness that is making it time for me to take firm and bold political action.
