I found this breastfeeding song and breastfeeding chant in the La Leche League World Breastfeeding Week Kit (you can find the words to the songs there too). I will let you decide for yourself whether they are hokey or beautiful and powerful. I am warning you though, you just might find yourself singing in your head: “Ain’t gonna let nobody turn me around….”

Laura, that’s exactly how I felt too!
at first i thought it was a little hokey but it actually gave me goose bumps. you gotta stand up for what you believe, especially as a nursing mom and these words spoke powerfully to me. the song was by far my favorite!
