BugE: An Electric Ride

Vehicles that make use of fuel like gasoline and diesel sure are moving machines to only add to the pollution that we are suffering from. But with electric vehicles, we do know that one day, these are going to be the kind of automobiles to roam our streets.

Well maybe as early as now you would like to meet the BugE. This is an electric ride which may actually capture your interest and your heart through time. It comes with three wheels only and has got a different kind of design. The BugE is quite so different from the rest that only one person can take a ride on this moving piece of metal called an automobile.

With one charging, the BugE could bring to some 30 to 40 miles from your starting point which is quite okay. It can also zoom up to a top speed of 50 miles per hour so you would surely not be moving at a snail’s pace.

I’ve just started mine too. There is a new BugE yahoo group that has formed that might be helpful.

Sounds cool Geoff. I like your description of your experience with BugE “drives like a pod racer from StarWars” :-)

I took a test drive of one in Creswell, Oregon. The thing drives like a pod-racer from Star Wars – sound and all! A truly elegant, simple, efficient and fun transportation solution. One can customize it and I hear a current BugE owner is making theirs look like something from Alien!
