The nurse-in at Burlington International Airport went off without a hitch yesterday. The Burlington Free Press reports today that 30 mothers and fathers and dozens of their children congregated in front of the Delta check-in counter to protest the incident in which a mother was kicked off a plane for breastfeeding without covering up. Participants expressed their shock and horror that the mother was humiliated that way. They praised Burlington International Airport after the nurse-in for allowing and accommodating the peaceful demonstration.
