It’s always good to learn about cultures, traditions and customs. Planning some Chinese New Year activities to do with your children can help them learn more about Chinese culture and heritage.
I posted some of the Chinese New Year food traditions over at She Knows Parties, as well as some Chinese New Year party ideas.
Here at Play Library I want to talk about some fun activities you can do with your kids to celebrate the Chinese New Year coming up in a few weeks.
- Printable dragon masks from Animal Jr.
- Chinese Paper Lanterns from Kaboose
- Chinese New Year Pups Coloring Page, and more from Printables4Kids
- 2010 is the Year of the Tiger, here are some year of the tiger craft ideas from Activity Village
- Chinese New Year printables and coloring pages from Nick Jr. (they also have invitations and thank you notes for a kids Chinese New Year Party)
- Chinese New Year Lucky Red Envelopes from Kaboose
Have fun celebrating and learning with your kids!
