At the end of January this year, I wrote a post about a collaboration between Scrapbook Rewards and Visa and it seems that one of our readers, September Whisenant had a bad experience with this:
I signed up for this card at the Great American Scrapbook Convention because they were offering a box of scrapbooking supplies as an incentive to apply. They said I would receive my free supplies within 2 to 3 weeks of my application. Well, here it is two months later and I have not received the promised supplies and I am getting the run around from Customer Service. Their latest tactic is to say that they will research it. I was not made aware the $100 limit on the purchase of scrapbook supplies until after I received my card. Anything you spend over $100 does not earn any reward. Also, whether you receive the 4% reward is dependent on how that particular vendor is coded. So you might buy scrapbooking supplies but if the store you bought it from is not coded as a scrapbook supplier you will not receive the 4% but one of the lower rates which go as low as .25%, yes, that’s right, only one quarter of a percent. I have found that none of the digital scrapbooking sights I buy from are coded as scrapbooking so I am not receiving the 4% on any of those purchases. So I definitely would not recommend this card.
This is only one comment I received about their experience that I thought is worth featuring for others who are thinking of availing this. If you have a positive experience about the Scrapbook Rewards Visa, I’d love to hear from you too

My comment about this card is the fact that the rewards never change. That’s very disappointing. Lastly, i’ve noticed a few rewards have been added to the list but have no description or image available. It’s been over a year. I was interested in the reward but have never been able to view it.
