I don’t know how she did it except that well, she did it the way we all do it.
You just do it. You figure out the first thing that needs to be done, and you do it. Then the next thing and the next, until lo and behold, you are a mother when you never expected to be one. As she so rightly remarks in one of her posts, she had zero time in which to prepare. She had not been dreaming about pregnancy with a husband or adoption with an agency. Death took her sister and left this child.
