Eco Wedding Favors - Four Ideas

Greener wedding favors should be made with eco sense (i.e. organic) or be something people will use and use; not just toss. Here are a few ideas…

Plantable Petal Cones Kit (for holding flower petals, lavender grains, rice, etc.) from Favor Creative

We are so excited to be having a green wedding. We thought it would be great to give our guests something to remember our wedding that will last, and found this site. http://www.treebeginnings.com that has tree seedlings that are going to be fantastic on the reception tables. They come in tubes so they will be great for transporting.
Do you think our guests will plant them?

A great green party favor for birthday weddings etc is the TickleMe Plant. A plant that closes its leaves and lowers its branches when tickled.
No batteries necessary, growing kits can be reused over and over again… You can find information at http://www.ticklemeplant.com

No wedding here but I did join the Arbor Day foundation!

@Peggy of course! And your guests would thank you.

@Liz I hope one of these works out well :) Or stay tuned, I’m trying to gather some more up before the month is out.

I love this idea. I’ve been trying to figure out what to get my guests as favors! Thanks so much!

Of course I’d choose the Endangered Species Chocolate!

    Nice list.

I like the pears – because they come in a wooden box (reusable) and most everyone likes to make cookies, so it’s an ongoing gift. Plus they’re so darn cute. I’ve got a few more favors coming up before the month is over. It’s hard to find real green favors; lots of the sites list stuff as “green” but really they’re not when you look into it.

I forgot to mention how excited I was that these are all reasonably priced.

These are all wonderful ideas! Sadly I already bought my dress the day before you came out with the eco friendly ideas for dresses, but this is something I will definitely be doing… Now if only I could just pick one! Love them all.
