Last week, we wrote about some very disturbing people, One Million Moms, who were attacking our beloved Ellen DeGeneres for being openly gay and saying she was not appropriate to be the new spokesperson for JC Penney because of this. No one attacks our Ellen and gets away with it! And thankfully, she feels the same way. In today’s show, she addresses these “haters” in her usual funny yet direct way that just made us love her even more. Because who really cares if she’s gay? She’s just someone who makes us happier and healthier.
On today’s show, Ellen read what One Million Moms wrote on their website:
By jumping on the pro-gay bandwagon, JC Penney is attempting to gain a new target market and in the process will lose customers with traditional values that have been faithful to them over all these years. The majority of JC Penney shoppers will be offended and choose to no longer shop there.
Ellen fired back by saying:
I want to be clear. Here are the values I stand for. I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you’d want to be treated and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values. That’s what I stand for … I also believe in dance.
And most people seem to agree. Last week, one of our readers, self help, wrote:
Ellen is probably one of the least offensive people on TV. Seriously, these women need to be a little more focused on raising their children because clearly they have too much time on their hands.
I couldn’t agree more. Whether someone is gay or not certainly does not affect the type of person they are. And like I said before, Ellen is just good for our mental health. Past studies have proven that people who are happier are healthier. One study even concluded that our minds are capable of generating positive emotions as a healing tool that could be more effective than drugs or therapy. A positive mental attitude has also been shown to help people cope with stress and the physical damages it can cause.
The bottom line? Ellen’s positive, generous, happy attitude is something our society could use more of. And the negative, hateful attitude of these One Million Moms is something we don’t need any of.

Way to go, JCP! Our society is better when we accept everyone. Ellen is such a wonderful example of goodness and kindness in this world. To all the narrow minded Christians, I say: Christ never mentioned one word about gayness. He may have been gay himself. He never married and hung around mostly with men. And, to those who think that sexuality is a choice, I ask: When did you decide what your sexuality would be? The truth is, we don’t decide. We are born as we are with whatever genetic traits that God has given us. Everyone cannot be the same in personality, looks, gender, sexuality, etc. God bless our diversity. And, God help those who hate!

We fight for rights, equality, and freedom. Which none of us have. Case proven when “one million moms” attack someone for being a spokes person for a large company. Who cares if she is gay? Who cares if she carries a large purse or small wallet, has 5 dogs or 2 cats? WHO CARES WHAT SHE CHOOSES TO DO WITH HER LIFE? I am CERTAIN out of those “one million moms” ATLEAST one of them have a gay child! Wonder how they would feel if their child was being attacked? I bet she wouldn’t like it and fight for rights! Pathetic moms! You’re not a good mom if you don’t teach your child everyone has a right to be who they choose to be!
If you were to boycott everything that is made by or connected to people with unbiblical views then you would have to leave the planet. But, what if the GOD of the Bible is true and all the sexually immoral will not inherit the Kingdom of GOD, and end up for eternity in Hell. It seems cruel to give into the homosexual’s desire for me to put my arm around them and say “everything is ok”, as they blindly or willfully walk off that cliff.
We’re not saying to put your arms around them or anything, just be tolerant.
I have nothing against people who follow religion, I just don’t like having their beliefs shoved down my throat.
I love Ellen and everything she stands for,she is the the best spokesperson JC penny could’ve picked she’s sweet, kindhearted and very generous OMM makes me sick Ellen has has more fans then they have members so JC pennys will gain more then they would lose I Love You Ellen!!!!
