Memorial Day Weekends should be filled with nothing more than parties, beaches, good food, and lots of sleep. We’re officially taking off for a long, leisurely three days, filled with all of the above, and more:
Go to the Beach
Where else would we be on Memorial Day? Just remember to pack a safe, natural sunscreen. (Photo: Flickr user Balaji.P)
Sleep In
Long weekends were made for sleeping late, and that’s what we plan to do. Want to boost your slumber? Tell yourself you’re super-fit: Supposedly, it will help you get a better night’s rest.
Eat A Hamburger.
Because we have six reasons not to feel guilty about it.
Have a BBQ
And we’re going to keep it cheap and green with eco-friendly Memorial Day party supplies for $10 or less.
Tend The Garden
This is a favorite weekend chore, especially when it includes eco-friendly pest control. (Photo: Flickr user aussiegall)
Go Out For Dinner (And Pay For It).
There’s nothing like a good restaurant – whether it’s your neighborhood pizza spot or the best new restaurant in town. And there’s also nothing like paying the check yourself (we don’t believe in following all dating rules).
Eat Lobster.
That’s it. Just eat lobster.
Go Shopping.
We’re looking to restock our makeup bags with these non-toxic products.
See Sex and the City 2.
No, we don’t expect it to be amazing, but we do think it might pass the Bechdel Test.
Get A Beauty Treatment.
Massage, facial, or butt facial – going to spas is always a good thing.
