I’m wanting to start doing some of my container gardening indoors. The windows in our apartment face mostly north and east. Which means very little sunlight comes in during the day. So growing plants indoors will inevitably mean getting some artificial light at some point. We really don’t have the space to set up large grow lights. A friend of mine recommended just regular shop lights, which is what she uses for her indoor plants. And while I can find “plant” lights that fit into regular light sockets, finding full spectrum lighting for under $20 for regular sockets is very difficult. Any suggestions? What’s worked best for you? Is it worth the extra money for the convenience of “normal” sized full spectrum lighting?
