I know, I know. Every year, it seems, I congratulate my single mother friends on being both father and mother to their kids.
And this year, I would like to thank the fathers in my life who make being the mother of the King of Everything a rewarding, enjoyable experience. To my father, whose joy in having this little guy in his life makes me smile every time I see them together. To my dearest Serendipity, who sets a firm, kind, fun example for my son of what a man and a father should be.
