I am a single woman that will start the adoption process in the next year (I introduced myself a little while back). I read your blog because I’m excited about becoming a parent, but scared to death about going it alone. Reading about your experiences raising your son gives me assurance that it is possible to raise a child without a ‘mate’. Your posts regularly make me stop and think “Huh, now how am I going to deal with THAT”? I’m hoping that you’ll figure out all the tough spots and I can use your blog as a ‘Single Parent Manual’.
