The single parents channel on About.com has some great advice on how to make 2008 a great year. The list of ten things to do and keep in mind really bring home what it means to be a good parent.
Each suggestion is just… great. I’m in love with #10, personally:
10. Embrace Your Life
Finally, recognize all the good that already exists in your life, and take the time to celebrate it.
She suggests that you write a letter to your child, in #10, and now that the King of Everything is being so amazing, I think I’ll do just that.
I don’t think you, of all people, would ever forget for more than a moment.
I think our lives have more riches than can be counted. Thanks for reminding me.
