I’m all for making mundane chores like brushing teeth fun but could this Red magazine spread have taken it too far? Look at this child clutching a soccer ball in one arm while s/he brushes his teeth and does it while standing on a soccer ball! I hope that’s a soccer ball ottoman or something similar although it sure doesn’t look like it. Look at the way the child’s feet is curved over it.

Mike: lolol Yes, that’s what I always tell my son about walking around while brushing. If he falls, it’s not the hole in the head I’d be worried about, it’s that he might have to stop brushing his teeth! :P

When I was in grade school, I used to try to balance while standing on basketballs in the yard. I was pretty amazingly good at it, too. Then one day I fell and landed on my tail bone and couldn’t sit for a week. I have never once tried standing on a ball again. I can’t imagine what would have happened if there had been a toothbrush in my mouth. I probably would have quit brushing, too.
