WHAT I THINK:

Currently I have been using a homemade glass cleaner, but it’s nice to have something at the ready that’s no work for me.This glass cleaner works very well. I tried it on my patio door, car window, and bathroom mirror. It didn’t leave streaks, got all the grime off faster than my homemade cleaner, and smells pretty good. I use cloths to clean with (we don’t buy paper towels at my house) so I was worried about this product not picking up the lint, but surprisingly it did. My glass everywhere was spotless.

It smells of lavender but not overwhelmingly so. There’s a slight under scent of what I’m assuming is the ethanol (maybe) that did bother me a bit, but the smell doesn’t linger so it wasn’t too bad. The thing I liked best was that it did not smell like chemical glass cleaners. Of all the cleaners out there, conventional glass cleaners bug me maybe the most, because they always smell so icky. This cleaner smelled clean.

Any negatives?:

I couldn’t find any. Trust me, I always look. I recently reviewed this company’s Orange Plus cleaner, and I didn’t like the bottle, but the glass cleaner bottle was better.

Overall green score:

tree-score-green-beauty

5 out of 5 pretty little trees!

This cleaner is super green and works well. I’m sort of attached to my lemon scented homemade glass cleaner, but if I decided to buy a glass cleaner, I would buy this one. If you’re looking for a store bought glass cleaner than this well-priced Organic Lavender Window Cleaner is a smart choice.

I would love to use this product to clean the windows on the inside of houses and commercial offices. I have been looking for a scented window cleaning solution, but the problem is, I do a large volume, I would need a concentrated form so it would last longer..

Does this product contain any hydrogen peroxide? I was looking into more “green” products to use for window cleaning but all the ones i used never seemed to pack that extra cleaning “punch” like with greasy finger prints. I used one “green” product which i forgot the name and it had some hydrogen peroxide and orange oil in it and it worked pretty good but i didnt like the smell of the orange oil. I DO like the smell of lavender though so this would be great.
